Black Barn is a B&B style barn designed for short term accommodation in Kyneton. All the living spaces sit on the 1st level inside the gable roof line. From the ground the building appears to be a single storey agricultural barn, but the use of the upper attic space for 2 bedrooms, Kitchen, Bathroom and Living area has been cleverly tucked into the roof line. Each room has a minimum of 2.4m ceiling height to 3.5m as it follows the roof. The floor level is lowered in spaces to allow greater ceiling heights over the corresponding storage spaces on the ground floor to optimize the living spaces.
